In the words of Richard Marx

Oceans apart, day after dayAnd I slowly go insane.
I hear you voice on the line
But it doesn't stop the pain.
If I see you next to never,
How can we say forever?
Wherever you go, whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you.
Whatever it takes, or how my heart breaks,
I will be right here waiting for you.
I took for granted all the times
That I thought would last somehow.
I hear the laughter, I taste the tears,
But I can't get near you now.
Oh can't you see it baby,
You've got me going crazy.
Wherever you go, whatever you do,
I will be right here waiting for you.
Whatever it takes, or how my heart breaks,
I will be right here waiting for you.
I wonder how we can survive
This romance
But in the end if I'm with you,
I'll take the chance.
Oh can't you see it baby,
You've got me going crazy.
Wherever you go, whatever you do,
I will be right here waiting for you.
Whatever it takes, or how my heart breaks,
I will be right here waiting for you.
Waiting for you.
---------------------------------
More than two years baby.
I love you every day.
Waiting.

i'm so very upset right now, and disappointed. very very disappointed. so much, to the point that i'm asking myself if it's worth it, all of it. spent most of the day on something that may completely have been in vain, and I have an exam tomorrow. God bless me.in need of guidance

God will make a wayWhere there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me
He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength
For each new day
He will make a way
He will make a way
By a roadway in the wilderness
He'll lead me
And rivers in the desert will I see
Heaven and earth will fade
But His Word will still remain
He will do something new today
one year.

one year. That's how long it's been since we made the decision, after talking for months, to get into this and give ourselves a chance. Sometimes it still seems surreal to me, that i'm even in this whole situation, which I never in a million years would have foreseen. I used to be very wary of how I might be judged and how the whole situation would be perceived, but now one year on, I'm just so happy that I don't really care who thinks what anymore. Sure, there will be detractors and it's hard not to be affected by what they say. There are those who think we're being foolish, that spending the bulk of your time apart does not constitute a proper relationship, but what really matters is that we both know what this is to us. Indeed, we don't have the simple luxuries that so many other couples do, but in other ways we also have so much more. The trust, the communication, the connection - those things are real, and there's no way you can pretend. It's already hard enough to build up and sustain in person, and being apart both tests it and depends on it so much more. The fact that these things are still there now after one year and so much stronger, i know that this is genuine, and we're doing it right. We're so much a part of each others' lives, and we're both right there willingly committing the time and effort we know is required to sustain this.
Sure, it's definitely not without its problems, and I'd be lying if I said that the uncertainty of the future doesn't bother me, or that I don't have moments where I wonder if it's time to wake up from my fairytale. There are things that I think about quite frequently, and no I don't have all the answers. What I do have, however, is faith, because what's become clear to me now, is that this is truly a cause worth fighting for.
I don't know how long this will last, or how things will turn out. I may not know how the story progresses, but i am thankful for each day that I have him in my life, because he's been a blessing to me in so many more ways than I can imagine, and I trust that God will be there guiding us as our journey continues.
I love you, here's to our first year.
